ARGENTINE MINISTER OF WAR RESIGNS
* BUENOS AIRES, Nov. 18. The United Press of America reports that the political gulf separating Argentina’s isolationist policy from the bloc favouring the United Nations has been widened by the resignation of the Minister of War (General Juan Tonazzi) who favours the Allied cause. The President (Dr Castillo) has appointed as his successor General Pedro Ramirez, formerly Argentine military attache in Rome. He received his early military training in Germany and was a member of the Kaiser's sth Hussars.
