RAW MATERIALS FOR WAR FACTORIES LONDON, Nov. 17. How Germany has been making use of French North Africa is indicated in a statement issued in London. It says that sine/e 1940 Germany and Italy have requisitioned a large proportion of imports from Africa, especially those brought to Marseilles. Raw materials from North Africa have been sent to French ‘-w’ - working for Germany. Large quantities of materials used in the manufacture of fertiliser, 250,000 tons of minerals, as well as ruboer, wool, and foodstuffs from North Africa have been commandeered by .the Nazis. ‘ y
