OBITUARY
MISS CATHERINE VOGAN Miss Catherine Vogan. who died at Christchurch recently, was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs George Vogan, who arrived in the ship Mermaid and settled at Holmes Bay in 1865. After the death of her parents. Miss Vogan lived in Christchurch. She is survived by four sisters and two brothers. They are Mesdames Joseph Johnston (New Brighton). R. H. Birdling (Little River), J. King, and J. W. Martin ( Christchurch). Messrs W. G. and J. S. Vogan (Duvauchelle). The funeral services at St. John’s Church and at Duvauchelle cemetery were conducted by the Rev. J. Mann.
