PUBLIC NOTICE! By law, from the end of this month, it is forbidden to advertise spirituous liquors and beers for sale, except in a very minor way. Ballins Breweries (N.Z.) Ltd. accept the Government’s decision with the best of good grace. When this Company started as brewers, now six years ago, our best friends advised us that we were making a mistake, and that the size of the brewery we were building was too large, and would never be used to its full capacity. The position to-day is that the brewery is producing to capacity. This is all the more remarkable, seeing that our brewery is now the third largest brewing unit in the Dominion. As soon as the building restrictions are lifted, the Directors of Ballins Breweries (N.Z.) Ltd. intend to go ahead with their original policy of energetic expansion, and build a larger brewery which will not only meet the Company’s present needs, but also future requirements. OUR PLEDGE! The Directors wish to give this sincere and solemn pledge: "That they will maintain their High Brewing Standards, and definitely will not alter the present Quality of their Beers.” BALLINS BREWERIES (N.Z.) LTD., Christchurch—Telephone 30-705.
