NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
SEPTEMBER 3 FIXED The Governor-General (Sir Cyril Newall) has received the following message from the private secretary to the King; “The King has appointed Thursday. September 3, to be a national day of prayer and dedication in the United Kingdom.” The Governor-General hopes that this day may also be observed as a national day of prayer and dedication in New aland, and. with this in view, his Excellency is inviting the co-op-eration of the chruches throughout the , Dominion.
