BOWER BRIDGE OPEN ON MONDAY
The opening of the Bower bridge over the Avon river next Monday was announced yesterday by the City Engineer (Mr E. Somers). The bridge is not yet finished and much ..work remains to be done on the approaches. For some time it will be necessary for traffic to approach the bridge over rough, unformed grotftid, but. the City Council will try to make conditions for traffid as satisfactory as possible in the circumstances.
