The weather forecast for Canterbury, issued at 5 p.m. by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, is as follows: Moderate or fresh north-easterly to easterly winds. Weather cloudy, with occasional rain, chiefly north of Banks Peninsula, Temperatures cool. Further outlook unsettled. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER A frost of 10.3 degrees was recorded In Christchurch yesterday. The day was mild. There was scattered cloud, a light breeze from the south-west in the morning turning later to the porth-east. At 1 o’clock this morning the sky was clear and the wind was light from the north-east.
