Mrs Elizabeth Head, of Waimate, celebrated her ninety-sixth birthday anniversary recently. Mrs Head is in good health, and knitting and letterwriting claim much of her time. The evening was opened with the singing of the Welsh anthem. Musical items were given by Mrs W. J. Roberts, Misses Eileen and Anna Pond, and Mr BHhell, and recitations by Miss Audrey Eady.
