* WOMEN’S DOUBLES FOR M’INTOSH CUP
The Christchurch Ladies’ Bowline Centre's championship doubles for the Mclntosh Cup were played at Spreydon on Thursday. The weather was perfect and fine bowling was seen. Results were:—First round: Mrsdamcs Besley and Sinclair 24. Mesdames Smart and Oliver IB; Mesdames Dickson and Priest 26. Mesdamcs Cook and Hetheiton 14. Second round: Mesdamcs Besley and Sinclair 13, Mesdatnes Carroll and McDonald 14; Mesdames Legge and Travis 32. Mesdames Dickson and Priest 16. Final: Mesdames Besley and Sinclair 24. Mesdames Legge and Travis 12.. Aulsebrook’s Club.—The following were championship winners in the Aulsebrook’s Bowling Club competitions:— Fours, Hurrell, Hargraves, L. Johns, Clark (skip); doubles. W. Johns, Clark (skip); singles, Vv. Johns.
