Scrimgeour’s application for membership in the AucKland Waterside Workers’ Union was approved at the monthly stop-worK meeting of the union on Wednesday, he must obtain approval of the Waterfront Control Commission before he can claim preference of employment over non-unionists. , No application for approval has yet been received by the commission, sai“ the chairman (Mr R.
