OBITUARY
MR J. A VEITCH The death occurred recently of Mr J. A. Veitch. a well-known builder, of Papanui. Mr Veitch was born at Veitch’s road. Papanui, in 1880. Four years ago he retired from the building business and made a trip to England and America, returning just before the outbreak of war. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Messrs J. L. and Roy Veitch, both of Papanui. The funeral to the Waimairi cemetery' was largely attended by businessmen and residents of the district.
