ANNUAL CROSS-COUNTRY RUN
’ CATHEDRAL GRAMMAR SCHOOL The annual cross-country run of the Cathedral Grammar School was held yesterday. Results were as follows: Senior Run.—E. R. F. Dodgson (Parr House) 1, D. Freeman-Greene (Parr House) 2, R. N. Taylor (Parr House) 3. Distance, two miles 1056 yards. Time, 14min 80sec. . Junior Run.—R. G. Royfee (Merton House) 1, D. S. Johnston (Merton House) 2. R. Foster (Parr House) 3. Distance, one mile 1484 yards. Time, 12min 45sec. House Championship.—Parr House 21 points; Merton House, 17 points. Mrs Kelly led the devotions at the recent meeting of the Bryndwr branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, and Mrs Robinson gave a scientific fact. The treasurer presented the financial statement and the secretary gave a report on the recent convention. Hostesses were Mesdames F. J. T. Grigg and R. Clark.
