JURY’S VERDICT SET ASIDE
* (Received September 30, 12.30 a.m.) SIDNEY, September 29. The Full Court of New South Wales to-day set aside the verdict of a Supreme Court jury awarding £7OOO damages against Stuart F. Doyle, picture theatre director ,and others described as Bligh Street Holdings Proprietary, Ltd. . The damages were originally awarded to a former New Zealander, Thomas Alexander O’Brien, who had alleged conspiracy in regard to his ejection from the lease and control of the Savoy Theatres in Sydney and Melbourne. The Court to-day awarded Judgment in favour of the defendants.
