NORTH CANTERBURY POULTRY CLUB
Although there had been a slight loss on the year’s working, the financial statement showed a credit of £3l 5s 2d, stated the report to the annual meeting in Rangiora of the North Canterbury Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Club. The report commented on the success of the club’s last show, and appreciation was expressed to those who had given their services. Officers were elected as follows; Patrons, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes and 14 others; president, Mr W. J. Martyn; vice-presi-dents, Messrs W. Wise, W. R. T. Ross, M. Hughes, O. Robertson, J. Ryley, F. Minchington, and Miss I. Clist; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. G. Dennis. Messrs L. Martyn, J. A. Ivory, F. C. Hack and Mrs E. Clist were elected life members. It was decided to make a presentation to the secretary in appreciation of his services.
