N.Z. INDUSTRIES FAIR
PREPARATIONS WELL IN HAND Carpenters, electricians, furnishers, and exhibitors are working at high pressure jn Dalgety's Buildings, Moorhouse avenue, preparing for the grand opening next Saturday evening of the New Zealand Industries Fair. It is confidently anticipated that the doors will open on Saturday to one of the most enthusiastic crowds ever seen in Christchurch. The Fair Committee and exhibiting manufacturers have made elaborate plans for the display of wartime industries, for, to-day, front line industries are vital. Those in charge of the exhibition have set a very high standard and they have received the utmost co-operation from exhibitors. Of special interest are the splendid displays which show why New Zealand’s war effort is something to be proud of. Exhibits will show how various leading factories have adapted themselves to war-time production and the man in the street will fully appreciate. when he sees these displays, how New Zealand is helping Britain. Special efforts have been made to give children an added interest in this exhibition. •
