BUSINESS OF THE HOUSE
PARLIAMENT TO SIT ON TUESDAY (P.R.) WELLINGTON, September 28. An outline of the business that il expected to occupy the House of Re* presentatives during the coming week, was given to-night by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hoh. P. Fraser. When asked if the interrupted debate or. the Social Security Amendment BIH would be resumed on Tuesday, Mr Fraser gave a non-committal reply, but said that the question of its resumption would be considered during the week. Mr Fraser said that bills likely to come before the House would include the Local Legislation Bill which wa» introduced on Friday, and the Coalmines Amendment Bill which was also introduced last week and referred to committee. It was also possible that the Statutes Amendment Bill, the Land and Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, and another Finance Bill would be brought down, while the Supple* mentary Estimates would be available. The House will sit again on Tuef* day afternoon, the three-day wee* adopted by Parliament some time having been abandoned last week. _
