FENDALTON TENNIS CLUB
* The sixteenth annual meeting of the Fendalton Tennis and Croquet Club was held recently. The report and balancesheet showed a membership of 126 and an accumulated fund of £BB9 11s 7d. Opening day was fixed for October 4. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr R. P. Jones: vice-presidents, Messrs E. A. Lee. H. S. S. Kyle, M.P., J. H. Johnson, and A. Stewart: club captain, Mr G. H. Royds; committee, Messrs H. Hadler, M. T. Dixon, D. G. Silvester, S. Good, T. Nelson. J. E. Goodwin, and R. L. Dunster, Mesdames W. L. Whittington and O. Hadler/ and Miss W. Bowbyes.
