TRAMWAY MATCH The annual Association football match between Christchurch and Dunedin Tramways teams for the Wilkinson Shield will be played at Hagley Park this after noon. Legislative Council’s Work.— I The Fair Rents Amendment BiT and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Bill were passed by the jegislative Council yesterday. Fhe Standards Bill was read a first time, and the Manukau County Council Empowering Bill read a second time. The Wellington Free Ambulance Bill was referred back to the Local Bills Committee, as the of St. John desires to give evidence on it—P-A.
