OFFICIAL FORECASTS (P.S.S.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 26. The weather forecast for Canterbury issued at 5 p.m. by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, and dealing with the 24 hours following the time of issue, is as follows: — Moderate to strong winds, from between the west and the south. Weather cool and changeable, with occasional showery periods. Further outlook changeable.
