SHIPPING NOTES The Awahou, which was delayed overnight on Wednesday, sailed yesterday for Wellington. She is expected to return on Sunday from that port. The Waiana is due from Bluff on October 1, and is expected to sail for Wellington and Auckland the same day. The Port Whangarei, which will leave, to-day for Dunedin, is expected to return from the south on Monday to load and sail the same day for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato.
