WOOL CLASSING FOR WOMEN
COURSE TO BE STARTED AT RANGIORA
As part of the Women’s .War Service Auxiliary service, g wool-class-ing course will be started in Rangiora soon. So far ! there have been 12 enrolments for the class, and only four more members are required before a start will be made.
Tuition will be given to the women by Mr H. Ellen, who is conducting a similar class at the Christchurch Technical College for the Women’s Land Army. A series of lectures will be given in Rangiora, on the completion of which it is hoped that members will be given the opportunity to go to Christchurch to undertake practical work. Suitable fleeces for wool-class-ing are not available at Rangiora for the practical section.of the course, and advantage will be taken of the facilities offered at the college.
