TRAINING SCHEME FOR AIRMEN
DOMINION’S PART IN FUTURE
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, August 22. If it is necessary to go on with the Empire air training scheme beyond April, 1943, New Zealand would continue to participate in the scheme, the Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. W. Nash) said to-day. The Dominion’s Air Force representative was in Canada, keeping in touch with the matter, and as the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser) would shortly visit Canada, it was probable that he would investigate the position.
