RUGBY FOOTBALL
INTER-COLLEGIATE TOURNAMENT
Owing to rain in Wellington having made all available grounds unplayable, it had been decided yesterday that the inter-collegiate tournament among Christ’s, Wellington. Wanganui, and Nelson Colleges would have to be abandoned. Advice has been received from Wellington, however, that arrangements are being made to play Saturday’s games on a ground in the vicinity of Wellington if the weather permits. If that is not possible, two of the matches will be played on Monday.
The Christ’s College team left last evening for Wellington.
