Thfe South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce decided at its meeting last evening to support the committee in., its protest against the incorporation and to assist its efforts to establish a permanent health camp in South Canterbury. A proposal to form a permanent institution at Tekapo to serve as a children’s health camp, a convalescent home for soldiers, and a.rest home for women, was favoured by the publicity gnd progress committee, which suggested that, as the matter was urgent, a public meeting should be .called immediately. ’ ;The suggestion . was adopted by the chamber, which will invite all' organisations interested to be;present. , ’
