Advice has been received by his parents, Mr and Mrs D. M. Bain, of Halswell, that their son, Lieutenant Jack Bain, who has been in hospital in Greece as, a prisoner of war and wounded, is practically ready for a ’ convalescent camp. His wounds were healed and an arm-fracture nearly knitted. There was good food in the hospital and the men were comfortable.
