Law Society’s Protest—lnformation regarding the resolution of protest forwarded to the Government by the council of the New Zealand Law Society regarding the passing of the Small Farms Amendment Act was sought by Mr W. J. Poison (Opposition, Stratford) in the House yesterday. Mr Poison asked the ActingPrime Minister (the Hon. W. Nash) if •he would inform the House of the terms of the resolution if he had received it, and, if not, would he state the principles on which suppression of important criticism -was based, - and whether it was intended to extend them to other than war subjects?—P.R.
