SATURDAY (Before Mr H. A. Young, S.M.) INTOXICATED DRIVER

Kenneth George Edginton, aged 23, was fined £5 for being intoxicated in charge of a car in Gloucester street at 2.25 a.m. on Saturday, and he will be unable to hold a driver’s licence for six months. Sub-Inspector E. T. C, Turner said that a constable heard cries from a parked car and found Edginton lying on the front seat, vomiting out of the door. He was stupidly drunk, and when taken to the station was certified unfit to drive. Edginton said he was going into camp in three weeks, and had been to a party where there was celebration.
