SPORTS FIXTURES TO-DAY
The main senior Rugby match at Lancaster Park to-day is between Technical and New Brighton. Athletic and Christchurch will meet at Lancaster Park south. The other senior Rugby fixtures are Merivale v. Albiqn, at Rugby Park; Wigram y. Linwood, at the Show Grounds; Air Force v. Ofd Boys, at Wigram; University v. Godley Head, at Lancaster Park west; and Southern v. Sunnyside, at Sunnyside, The senior Rugby League competition will be continued with Sydenham meeting Rakaia-Hornby at Sydenham Park; Linwood v. Addington, at Jerrold street; and Waimairi v. Riccarton, at Riccarton, In the Soccer competition, Air Force and Technical will provide the main attraction at English Park. The curtain-raiser will be the match between Rangers and Thistle. Other matches will be Western v. Nomads, .at Richmond; Celtic v. Army, at Spreydon. The men’s and women’s hockey competitions will be continued, as also the men's winter tennis competition at Wilding Park. At NeW Brighton, senior and junior cycle races Will be held, and basketball fixtures have, been arranged. The usual golf fixtures and runs for harriers will also be held.
