Three children were alone m • Woolston home last evening when «*• j broke out in their bedroom. They ran. _ in their night clothes to a neighbour* house for safety. ' , They were two boys, aged seven ; and 10 years, .and a girl, aged tom | children of Mrs W. J. White. Mr* * White ■ had left her house at 59 TU | ford street early in the evening. ■“}■;; children were in bed, and an elecmc ; heater was standing by a cot, whicn caught fire. , The Fire Brigade was called at p.m., but by the time it arrived neign* hours had put out the flames, tn cot and the wallpaper were damage The children were taken back to by neighbours, who waited with until their mother returned.
