FAILURE TO ENROL
PRISON SENTENCE IMPOSED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. June 20. For failing to enrol in the first division of the General Reserve, Frank Allen Martin, aged 26, a taxi driver, was sentenced by the Magistrate (Mr J. H. Luxford) to one month’s imprisonment. •; A, plea that the form had been filled in. aqd posted was not accepted, the Magistrate ; saying that ’the defendant should have taken speedier steps to obtain a certificate of enrolment.
