CONVERSION LOAN

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 20. In dommenting on the progress of the Conversion Loan, the Minister for Finance (the Hon. W. Nash) stated that according ’ to. the information available, applications for conversions total £19,640,000. Notwithstanding the closing date of the conversion offer, the Reserve Bank will be prepared fo* the time being, as indicated in the prospectus, to accept applications from those holders who have not already, lodged them. The Minister added that the option contained in the prospectus, to limit either of the new loans to £15,000,000, will not be exercised, and that applicants will therefore be allotted the full amount applied for.
