U.S. VESSEL SUNK
REPORTS OP U-BOAT ATTACK (Received June 10, 11 p.m.) (U.P.A.) LONDON? June 10. The Brazilian vessel Osorio has picked up 11 members of the crew of the United States cargo vessel Robin Moor, which is believed to have been sunk by a U-boat in the Atlantic on May 21. The Robin . Moor was on its way to Cape Town. The United States Navy Department intercepted radio messages indicating that the Robin Moor was torpedoed by a U-boat, but there is no official confirmation of this. The Robin Moor carried a crew of 27 and eight passengers, including women and children. The vessel’s cargo was a general one, but did not include munitions.
