ACCIDENTS

* KNOCKED OVER BY CAR Richard S. Hendren, a boy aged nine, of 61 London street, Lyttelton, suffered fractures of the thigh and lower right leg when knocked over by a motor-car in Lyttelton last evening. He was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where his condition last night was reported to be satisfactory. MAN COLLAPSES AND DIES Reginald John Webb,- aged 52, of Straven road. Fendalton, collapsed and died at the Hotel Gloucester, Gloucester street, about 5.35 last evening. It is not yet known whether an inquest will be necessary.
