SOUTHLAND FARMERS’ RESOLUTION EFFECTS OF ELECTION DISCUSSED (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, June 6. A sharp division of opinion on th* question of the formation of a Coali* tion Government and the postpone* ment of the General Election for the duration of the war was revealed at s conference of the Southland provin* cial executive of the Farmers’ Untos to-day when a motion was proposed urging that a representative Coalition Government should be set up, and that the General Election should be post* poned for the duration of the war.
