MR PARLANE ON THE TRAMWAY BOARD
i* . Sir,—lt was rather a shame to re- : mind Mr Parlane of his* amusing little x outburst at the first meeting of the Tramway Board, It was not unex- ! pected, and we were quite happy. I just said to myself, “Poor, peevish Mr ' Parlane, he must have some compensations for being slightly bent in the "■ toyoral election.” Tvdo have some faint recollection of Mf Parlane speaking about “rabbits" at meeting, but I thought He referring to “red” rabbits, so I was not very interested. But what a 4 crushing letter from him in your issue "f to-day. So inspiring, so intellectual, and I am sure the people ■of ■■Christ-' f;i church now realise;that “coloured rab-. bits are not always produced from top hats.—Yours, etc., „ - HENRY KITSON.
