Import Certificates.—The Hon. W. Nash said yesterday, referring to an amendment appearing in the Gazette to the import Certificates Emergency Regulations, 1939, that the effect of the amendment was that certificates of origin rind Merest would be required in respect of goods imported into the Dominion from Iran or Iraq, which left either country-after May 14, 1941. The Minister drew! attention to a notification in the Gazette indicating that certificates of origin and interest would not be required for the following goods imported... from those countries: all foodstuffs, animal 1 fats, ' carpets; charcoal, raw -cotton*' gallnuts, gpm, nuts, Oainel: add goat hiair, hides, ' leather, Vegetable otis,. opium, petroleum--and petroleum products, vegetable oil .seeds, .pkins, soapwort, raw and carded wool*
