MOTOR VEHICLES
REGISTRATION FOR NEW PERIOD THIS WEEK ISSUE OF NUMBER PLATES Licensing’ and relicensing of the motor vehicles will start in Christchurch on Thursday (May 1). As has been announced, the period covered by registration will be 13 months, from May 31 this year to June 30, 1942, which will in future years avoid overconcentration of the r^stration and other business in May, The full fees will therefore be increased to cover the extra month. . ' So far, as in 1940. few . motorists have inquired about licensing at the Chief Post Office, and no indication can be given about the probable numbers relicensing their vehicles this year.
