STABILISATION
Sir,—The intention of the Labour Party to stabilise present prices, wages and salaries should be welcome to all parties. The highest point of stabilisation can" be achieved by the Government’s shouldering" the burden of increased costs where variations become necessary. If the Government accepts the full burden it will, be a great step forward. Then, no section* will he compelled by circumstances to regard other sections as their natural enemies. Co-operation can take the place of battle. This prospect of removal of a source of strife should be welcomed by our spiritual friends.—Yours, etc., ,V KAYE HOE. April 19.: 1941.
