ACCIDENTS
FATAL INJURIES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 9. Head injuries causing instant death were suffered by a man aged about 50 when he was struck by a tram in Lambton quay at 7,55 p.m. to-day. Although his identity had not been established at a late hour to-night, he is believed to have been a resident of Pangaroa, near Dannevirke. WOMAN’S DEATH (P.A.) DUNEDIN. April 9. Mrs Gladys Rogers, aged 38, a resident of Macandrew Bay, died in hospital yesterday from loss of blood, apparently caused by a gunshot wound. An inquest was opened and adjourned.
