HOME, GUARD PARADE

Sir,— Congratulations to the Home Guard for the fine display on Friday evening. These men must have given ud a great deal of their time to become so proficient in such a short period. But surely their efforts could have been better rewarded by arranging for more, than two bands for such a large parade? As a spectator, I would have appreciated banners being carried at the head of each company giving the name of its district. Could this be arranged in future?— Yours, etc., ragged in iu SPE CTATOH.
