There were good performances at the Canterbury Gun Dog Club’s land and water trials on Mr A. Shipley’s property at Harewood recently, Mr M. K. McDermott judged the open and puppy classes, and Mr A. A. Elliott, of Nelson, judged/ the novice classes. Mr A. Hedges was the official shooter, . ‘ Open Class, Land and Water (8 entries) —J. M. Mitchell’s Labrador, Darkle of Hawea, 177 points; ,M. P.
