ST. JOHN AMBULANCE AT SUMNER

A meting of the Sumner sub-centre of the St. John Ambulance was presided over by Mr G. F. Allen. The secretary, Mr F. G. Vincent, reported that mixed classes In flrst-ald would begin work early in May. Arrangements were also being made to start classes at Mount Pleasant. The Sumner Borough Council had promised to add a number of stretchers to the equipment of the divisions. It was decided to place on record the sub-centre’s deep appreciation of the services given since the formation of the first Sumner ambulance ■ cadets by the superintendent of the Sumner Divisions Mr J.
