FRESH MILITARY PREPARATIONS
DECISION IN INDO- I CHINA EXPIRY OF TRUCE WITH THAILAND LONDON, February 23. The Saigon correspondent of ths Japanese Dome! News Agency state# that the authorities in Indo-China have decided to make fresh military preparations to provide against situation” when the truce with Thailand expires on Tuesdav. Troops are reported to have been moving along towards the border yesterday. Warships which have left Saigon are believed to be heading for Siam Bay. . . The Vichy correspondent of tne Associated Press . of Great Britain states that the Japanese proposal rejected by France for the settlement of the dispute between Thailand ana French Indo-China was that a third of the Laos and Cambodia Provinces of Indo-China should be ceded to Thailand.
