AMERICAN GIFTS ANNOUNCED HELP FROM ANZAC WAR RELIEF FUND [THE PRESS Special Service.] WELLINGTON, February 24. News has been received in Wellington that the Anzac 'War Relief Fund of New York, which has already provided tangible and much appreciated assistance for New Zealand troops, expects to ship in March 15 ambulances to the New Zealand troops in Egypt and five to Wellington. Five mobile canteens for the New Zealand forces in the Western Desert are also being built and will fill a long-felt want. These canteens will be on long chassis, with dust-proof, van-type bodies and will be fitted with dual rear wheels and desert tyres. Their equipment will include primus cookers and kerosene refrigerators.
