PRESENTATION AT METHVEN
♦- ' Before his departure for Wainui, Mr L. T. Fechney, formerly manager of the Rosehill estate at Methven,, was entertained at a social by neighbours and friends at Methven. Mr J. L. Richards (Mount Hutt station) presided, and wished the .guest well in his new sphere. On behalf of his many friends he asked Mr Fechney to accept a pipe and tobacco pouch, with their good wishes. Many other speakers endorsed the chairman’s remarks. Items were contributed by Messrs G* P. Lock, D. Petrie, A. Cook, D. McKay, B. Petrie, and Will*.
