♦ FIRST FIXTURE OF KIND FOR CHRISTCHURCH A boys’ and girls’ horticultural show —the first of its kind in Christchurch, and believed to be the first in any oi
the Dominion’s centres —will be held at the Caledonian Hall on Friday, under the auspices of the Canterbury Education Board and Canterbury Horticultural Society. It will be opened by the Minister for Education (the Hon. H. G. R. Mason). The show will comprise numerous sections, open to all pupils of Christchurch and suburban primary schools. Entries so far are 1200.
