CASUALTY LIST
ARMY AND AIK FORCE (PRESS ASSOCIATION TILIOBAU.) WELLINGTON, February 3. The following casualties in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force have been announced: — Private John Henry Powell Calson, died of sickness on January 16. His mother is Mrs J. P. Calson, of 19 Boston terrace, Wellington. Sergeant Charles John Herbert, died of sickness on February 1. His next of kin is Mr Charles Herbert, of 5 Rotherham street, Riccarton, Christchurch. The following Air Force casualty is reported: Flying Officer Samuel James Millen, D.F.C., now reported missing, believed killed. His father is Mr -S. G. A. Millen. of 18 Peakes road, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui. Flying Officer Millen was reported missing in June of last year. He was later reported safe and returned to duty. He was then awarded the Distinguished- Flying Cross, and in December was again reported missing.
