An agreement covering the sale of Dutch East Indies oil to Japan has been initialled by representatives of the Mitsui &fta Royal Dutch Standard and Vacuum companies in the presence of a Dutch official representative. Under the agreement. Japan will receive a substantial increase in supplies Of gasoline and oil. It had been agreed before the negotiations that the Dutch would 480,000 tons of crude oil and 100,OWJ tons of gasoline to Japan, and the negotiations add 280.000 tons of crude oil and 440,000 tons of oil products.
