INTER-CLUB MATCHES FIRED 1

The match between the Returned Soldiers’ sociatlon executive and the Returned diers’ Miniature Rifle Club was the out- 1 standing contest of the week. Richmond won by 664 to 659, A cup was presented by Mr J. Ball, of the Kaiapoi Club, for annual competition between the two teams. The Cashmere Miniature Rifle Club concluded the season with the annual presentation of prizes and social .evening, Mr j H Williams, president of the club, presented the prizes won during the season The championship trophies were, won as follows:—Senior A championship, L Bramley; senior B championship,.
