Smith, Canterbury inside left, met in collision with one of the Auckland halves while jumping for the ball, and suffered slight concussion. He was taken from the field. MARIST WINS HUMPHREYS CUP

JUNIOR GRADE FINAL

There were no senior Association games in Christchurch on Saturday, as the Canterbury side was playing at Auckland, At English Park, in the junior grade final of the knock-out competition for the Humphreys Cup. Marist beat Celtic by the odd goal in five. The Marist team was: J. Ward; B, White, B. Shaw; K. Grant. K. Jallot, P. Shaw; C. Jones, D. Fowke (captain), C. Brosnahan, B. Rundle, and E. Henry. In the sixth grade knock-out final for the Ramsay Cup. Marist beat St. Albans by 7 to 0. The Marist team was: C. Adlam; W. Bowden. M. Gordon; V. Walker. A. Laffey (captain), B. Griffith; J. Lindstrom, W. White, J, Burrows, R. Murphy, L. Flute.

In the seventh grade A final of the knock-out for the Priddis Cup, Hornby beat Technical by 5 to 2. The Hornby team was: W. Parker; H. Momo. D. Lawrence; R. Luke. M. Donovan, W. Bainbridge; L. Fazackerley, J. Hollobon, E. Mason, R. Luke, W. Pardon. The scventli grade B final of the knockout competition was drawn, Nomads and Thistle each scoring two goals.
